Sogndal IL has the pleasure of
inviting you to Fjord-O Nordvestgaloppen 2010. We are proud to welcome you to our beautiful and
tourist friendly Norwegian fjord country. We offer you exiting races in
varied terrain, marvelous nature and good
possibilities for activities on the fjord, in the mountain or on the glacier.

EVENT ARENA AND TERRAIN
Races 1 and 2 – Wednesday 14. (start from
17.00) and Thursday 15. July (start from 11.00).

Event arena: 20 km from O-camp, near Sogndal Airport Haukåsen. The event arena has a
spectacular view. The terrain is 600 meters above sea
level and consists of semi-open pinewood with reasonable runnabilty.
Races
3 and 4 – Saturday 17. (start from 11.00) and
Sunday 18. July (start from 11.00).

Event arena: 8 km north of
O-camp.
The terrain in Hodlekve is dominated by open marshland with some areas of
birch.
PARKING
The Haukåsen
event arena is placed amongst fantastic scenery, 20–30 minutes walk
from the parking area. In
Hodlekve the parking is between 0 and 1 km from the event arena. Parking fee is NOK 30,- every day, or NOK 100,- for all event days.
EKT
Electronic punching and timing system (EKT)
from EMIT is used for all events. Participants who don’t register an
e-card, will automatic be given a rental e-card. Fee is set to NOK 30,- for each race. All
participants must use the same start number and e-card each day. Rented e-cards
must be returned after the last race. A penalty of NOK
600,- is payable for non-returned e-cards.

1000 points to classwinner. Minus one point

KINDERGARTEN
We
will look after your kids while you run. No fee.
EVENT
CENTRE
Event centre will be on Fosshaugane Campus in
Sogndal. We offer transport from the event centre to the event arena. Please
e-mail us if you need transport, so we can plan capacity.
ACCOMMODATION
We have reserved several rooms and flats for our participants. They are
nice, cheap, and situated near the event centre in Sogndal We recommend you
